Milena Manova

Milena Manova is a psychologist (Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”) and a certified practicing psychotherapist since 2000 at WAPP (World Association of Positive Psychotherapy) and SPPB (Society for positive psychotherapy in Bulgaria). Teacher and supervisor of positive and child psychotherapy. Manager of the Institute of Positive Psychotherapy. Chairman of BATA (Bulgarian Association for Transactional Analysis).

Milena is a lecturer at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”. Author of the book “The Hyperactive Child” /2010, 2012/, Creative box “Ambulance for parents”, “Emotional cards”, Positum cards, Handbook of Transactional Analysis. Co-author of “Why me?” – Therapeutic tales for children and parents, articles in scientific journals. Its latest edition is the interactive book – game “I feel, I think, I understand my body”.

Lecturer and presenter of seminars, participant in TV and radio shows.

Winner of the prize for contribution to the psychotherapy of BAP for 2018.

Practices individual and group forms of psychotherapy in the following modalities:

  • Transactional analysis;
  • EMDR psychotherapy for trauma, phobias and panic attacks;
  • Game and children’s Gestalt psychotherapy;
